Three promoted at Ingram Entertainment Inc.

David B. Ingram, Chairman and President of Ingram Entertainment Inc., announced today the promotion of three key executives. W. Donnie Daniel has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer; Robert W. Webb has been named Executive Vice President, Purchasing and Operations; Jeffrey D. Skinner has been named Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. The three executives have a collective 47 years of wholesale distribution experience with various Ingram companies.

“2002 is turning out to be a good year for Ingram Entertainment. One of the reasons for our current success is the outstanding leadership that each of these individuals has provided our company for over a decade,” said David Ingram.

Donnie Daniel is being promoted from his former position of Senior Vice President Finance, Administration, and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Daniel received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He began his business career with Ingram Corporation in 1972. Mr. Daniel left Ingram in 1975 to join Worldparts Corp. as Controller. He then joined Ingram Book Company in 1990 as Vice President, Controller. Mr. Daniel joined Ingram Entertainment in August of 1994.

Bob Webb is being promoted from his former position of Senior Vice President, Purchasing and Operations. Mr. Webb is a graduate of State University of New York and received his MBA degree in 1992 from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management. He began his home video career in 1981 at Win Records and then worked as General Manager/Product Manager at Record Bar before joining Ingram Entertainment as Product Manager in 1987. Mr. Webb has held the positions of Director of Purchasing, Vice President of Purchasing, and Vice President, Field Operations during his 16-year career at Ingram Entertainment. In August 1994, Mr. Webb became Senior Vice President of Purchasing and Operations.

Jeff Skinner is being promoted from his former position of Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. Mr. Skinner graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a BBA in Accounting. He earned his CPA certificate in 1984 and began a career shortly thereafter with Deloitte and Touche LLP. Skinner joined Ingram Distribution Group in 1987 as a Senior Financial Analyst and subsequently held positions including Controller for Ingram Entertainment Inc. in 1989, Controller for Ingram Merchandising Services in 1993, and Vice President, Accounting Services for Ingram Entertainment in 1996. In 2001, Skinner became Vice President of Finance and Treasurer for Ingram Entertainment Inc.
