David B. Ingram

David B. Ingram graduated from Duke University in 1985. After graduating, he worked for Duke for two years as a Development Officer before returning to Nashville in 1987 to attend Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. After receiving his MBA degree in May 1989, he joined Ingram Industries Inc. as Assistant to the Treasurer. Two years later, he moved to Ingram Entertainment Inc. where he held a variety of positions before being named President in August 1994 and then Chairman and President in April 1996. On June 27, 1997, Ingram Entertainment Inc. split  from parent company Ingram Industries Inc. to become a separate private company owned by Mr. Ingram. Ingram Entertainment Inc. is currently the nation’s largest distributor of DVD, Blu-ray and video games.

On February 20, 2002, Mr. Ingram formed DBI Beverage Inc. (“DBI”).  This separate venture now owns five beverage distributors in northern-California operating from eight distribution centers located in Chico, Napa, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Jose, Truckee, and Ukiah.  Products distributed by DBI include Miller, Coors, Corona, Heineken, Pabst, Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, New Belgium and Red Bull.  For more information about the company, please visit www.dbibeverage.com.

Mr. Ingram is President of The Golf Club of Tennessee, Chairman of the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management Board of Visitors, Chairman of the Montgomery Bell Academy Board of Trustees, and Chair of the Investment Committee for the Tennessee Golf Foundation. He is also a board member of Pinnacle Financial Partners. Mr. Ingram is a former board member of Buy.com, Goldleaf Financial Solutions, Inc., Ingram Micro, and the Video Software Dealers Association.
